Coming soon — the full feature matrix

Everything you need. Built with your needs in mind.

Most Slack-to-Jira connectors are not designed for your real world requirements. Zyncit works in both directions — every feature below was built to solve a specific problem that teams actually have.

Works with both Jira Software and Jira Service Management projects.

Why Zyncit

Why teams choose Zyncit

Many tools send a message to a channel when a ticket changes. Very few actually remove the manual work around it. Here is what makes Zyncit different.

🔁

Actually bidirectional

Most integrations only send a notification and call it "sync." Zyncit is different: comments, ticket status, and files move in both directions, in real time. You can do your work fully inside Slack, not just receive updates from Jira.

🧠

No-code, not low-power

Features like conditional questions, Jira Service Management request types, live custom field syncing, and privacy-based routing usually require a developer or an expensive integration platform. In Zyncit, they are all available in a simple drag-and-drop form builder that anyone on your team can use.

💬

Works inside the tools your team already uses

There is no new app to install and no extra login to manage. If your team already uses Slack every day, Zyncit lets them create and manage Jira tickets from there directly, without learning a new system.

🛡️

Privacy built in, not added later

Internal notes stay internal. Sensitive requests are automatically sent as a private message instead of posted in a public channel. This privacy protection works by default — you do not need to set it up yourself.

🔧

Built to keep running

Zyncit automatically renews expired Jira connection tokens, always records the correct requester, and fully supports Jira Service Management. This means fewer failed updates, and fewer support requests asking why something did not sync.

🚀

Set up in a single day

There is no lengthy setup process and no need for outside consultants. Connect Slack and Jira, build your first form, and your team can start submitting real requests on the same day.

Dynamic Form Engine & UI

Forms that think for themselves.

Build once, and let the form adapt to every person who opens it.

Conditional Branching

The form changes automatically based on each answer. It can show the right follow-up questions, or skip the rest of the form completely, depending on what the person selects.

Auto-Draft Caching

Nobody has to re-type an unfinished form. If you close it and come back later, every answer is still exactly where you left it.

Show Only If

Not every question applies to everyone. Set a question to appear only when an earlier answer matches — like showing "Device Model" only when the requester picks "Hardware" — so people are never asked something irrelevant to them.

Jira Auto-Fill Sync

You no longer need to update the same dropdown list in two places. Zyncit automatically copies the options from your Jira custom fields, so your Slack form always matches your Jira project.

Slack-Only Bypass Mode

Not every request needs to become a Jira ticket. Turn on Slack-Only mode for simple things like approvals, event replies, or quick questions, and keep your Jira backlog focused on real work.

Omni-Channel Buttons

Nobody needs to remember a Slack command. Pin a "Launch" button in the channel, and people can start a form with one click.

Smart Global Router

One shortcut can work for every team. When several forms share the same starting point, Zyncit shows a simple list so people choose the correct form straight away.

Rich Question Blocks

Choose from short answer, paragraph, single choice, multiple choice, checkbox, and user-selection fields. Combine whichever field types your form needs. No coding is required.

Guided Instruction Steps

Add instruction text with an optional checkbox to confirm the person has read it, plus a Continue button that can skip ahead to a later question. Useful for policy confirmations or approval steps.

Native Date Picker

Stop parsing typed-in dates. Add a Date question and people pick a day from Slack's built-in calendar, so the value that lands in your Jira date field is always valid — no reformatting, no guessing.

Inline Field Guidance

Cut down on wrong or incomplete answers before they happen. Add a short description under any question — an example, a formatting hint, a reminder — and it shows as quiet grey guidance right under the field in Slack.

Smart Summary Composition

Stop writing ticket summaries yourself. Select "Include in Summary" on any question, and Zyncit automatically builds the Jira ticket summary from those answers.

Core Synchronization Engine

Everything, everywhere, in both directions.

Replies, files, statuses, and identities move between Slack and Jira on their own — nothing to forward, nothing to copy.

N-Way Lateral Sync

Type a message once, and it appears everywhere it needs to. A reply in the requester's private message also appears in the support channel and in the Jira ticket's comments — automatically, with nothing to copy and paste.

Live File Extraction

Screenshots and PDF files shared in a Slack thread are automatically added to the Jira ticket's attachments. Nobody has to forward them or remember to upload them.

Identity Fallback Bridge

Zyncit matches Slack accounts to verified company email addresses, so Slack @mentions are automatically converted into the correct Jira user tags. Nobody has to match names manually.

Interactive Agent Cards

Your support team can manage tickets without leaving Slack. Assign, reopen, update the status, and close requests directly from a card inside Slack, using Jira's own API in the background.

Automated Reporter Mapping

Every ticket correctly shows who requested it. Zyncit automatically records the Slack submitter's identity in Jira's Reporter field, every time, with no manual correction needed.

JSM Request Types

Works with both Jira Software and Jira Service Management projects. Zyncit automatically detects JSM projects and sets the correct Request Type, so your service level agreements and automations work correctly.

Security & Routing Logic

Private stays private. Urgent gets seen.

Sensitive requests, internal notes, and escalations each go exactly where they should — automatically, every time.

Role-Based DM Routing

One checkbox keeps a submission private. Instead of posting to a public channel, Zyncit sends a private message to the requester — with no extra setup needed.

Conditional Channel Routing

Route escalations automatically. When an answer matches a rule you set — like "Request Type is Hardware" — Zyncit posts a copy of the request straight to that team's channel, fully two-way synced with the Jira ticket, with nobody having to forward it.

Internal Note Leak-Protection

Internal Jira comments stay internal. Notes marked as private are only sent to your secure support channel, so sensitive discussions are never accidentally shown in a public thread.

Self-Healing API Tokens

When Jira connection tokens expire, Zyncit automatically renews them in the background. The request that triggered this is never lost, and nobody has to manually reconnect Jira.

This is what your team has been missing.

Every feature above removes one specific piece of manual work. Together, they make sure no request is missed or forgotten.
