The terms that govern your organization's use of Zyncit.
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between [LEGAL ENTITY NAME, e.g. "Zyncit Ltd"] ("Zyncit", "we", "us") and the organization that registers a Zyncit account ("you", "your organization"). By creating a Zyncit account, connecting Slack or Jira, or otherwise using Zyncit, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization. If you don't agree, don't use Zyncit.
Zyncit is a workflow tool that connects your organization's Slack workspace and Jira site, so that requests submitted in Slack can create and stay synchronized with Jira tickets, and updates to those tickets are reflected back in Slack. Zyncit requires your organization to independently hold valid Slack and Jira accounts — Zyncit is not a substitute for either, and does not control their availability, pricing, or features.
You agree not to use Zyncit to:
Zyncit integrates with Slack and Atlassian Jira. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes to their APIs, or any action they take with respect to your account (including suspending your workspace or site access). If Slack or Atlassian make changes that break part of Zyncit's functionality, we'll work to adapt as quickly as reasonably possible, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted compatibility.
Zyncit is currently in early access and pricing has not yet been finalized. Separate billing terms will be provided before any paid plan takes effect, and this section will be updated accordingly.
Zyncit and its underlying software, design, and branding are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. These Terms do not grant you any ownership in Zyncit itself — only the right to use it as described here. You and your organization retain all rights to the data you submit through Zyncit (your Slack messages, Jira tickets, and other content); we only process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Zyncit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zyncit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Zyncit will not exceed the amount your organization paid us in the [12 months / other period] preceding the claim, or [a stated minimum amount] if you are on a free plan.
You may stop using Zyncit and disconnect Slack and Jira at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your organization's data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify Owners and Admins directly. Continued use of Zyncit after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION — TO BE CONFIRMED], without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
